Stardust Big Band

Founded in 1990, the 17 member Stardust Big Band has entertained dancers and jazz lovers on the Olympic Peninsula by playing standards from the Great American Songbook with devotion to excellence and the great music they perform.  The extensive library includes classic  charts from Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glen Miller, Buddy Rich and many more.  Stardust members come from Bremerton, Kingston, Port Townsend, Port Angeles and Sequim to keep the great sound of alive and thriving. LaVon Hardison

LaVon Hardison, “an artist for whom the song is king” (Earshot Jazz), has a glossy, warm tone and infectious stage presence that have been delighting jazz enthusiasts and lovers of live music for decades. Jean Lenke

Crossover jazz-folk fusion artist Jean Lenke has been creating diverse live music for many years in the Philadelphia area and is now starting new adventures in Washington’s great northwest. Jeff Kashiwa

Seattle native, Jeff Kashiwa became known as one of the most compelling young saxophonists in contemporary jazz during his first year with The Rippingtons back in 1989. Kashiwa performed hundreds of shows all over the world and appeared on many of the band’s classic recordings.
